About us
UQ Psych MD is newly formed in 2023 and aims to raise the profile of and provide opportunities to engage in Psychiatry
We will do this by providing opportunities for med students through:

building awareness of pathways and subspecialties

running events to network with the psychiatry community

providing high yield opportunities during the Year 2 Mental Health module

providing education that links the medical curriculum and psychiatry

advocating for medical student mental health.

We welcome people interested in studying Psychiatry as well as any other med students that are curious, want to learn more about mental health and have a good time.
